HM, Egyptian President hold cordial meeting

 

Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik and President Abdul Fattah el Sisi of the Arab Republic of Egypt, held a cordial meeting at Al Barakah Palace on Thursday.

During the meeting, the two leaders discussed a number of regional issues and their political, economic and security implications. They also exchanged views on ways to reach a final agreement to resolve the American-Iranian crisis through understanding, dialogue and diplomatic channels.

The meeting was attended from the Omani side by Gen. Sultan bin Mohammed al Nu’amani, Minister of the Royal Office, Sayyid Badr bin Hamad al Busaidi, Foreign Minister, Dr Hamad bin Said al Aufi, Head of the Private Office and Sheikh Abdul Aziz bin Abdullah al Hinai, Ambassador-at-Large at the Foreign Ministry.

Meanwhile, it was attended from the Egyptian side by Maj. Gen Ahmed Ali Mohamed, Chief of the President's Office, Dr Badr Abdelatty, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates, Counselor Omar Marwan, Director of the President's Office and Yasser Shaaban, Ambassador of Egypt to Oman.
