Oman welcomes appointment of PM for Iraq

MUSCAT: The Sultanate of Oman welcomed the appointment of Ali al Zaidi as Prime Minister of the Republic of Iraq and the formation of the new Iraqi government, wishing him success to fulfill the aspirations of the brotherly Iraqi people.

In a statement issued by the Foreign Ministry on Monday, the Sultanate of Oman affirmed its keenness to continue fostering cooperation between the two brotherly countries in various fields to achieve mutual benefits and consolidate common interests.
