HM pays inspection tour

His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik on Wednesday paid an inspection tour of a number of wilayats in the governorates of Al Sharqiyah North and Al Sharqiyah South. The Royal motorcade departed from Al Barakah Palace, passing through the wilayats of Ibra, Al Qabil and Bidiyah, before proceeding to the Wilayat of Sur, and thereafter continuing to the Wilayat of Qurayat in the Governorate of Muscat.

During his Royal tour, His Majesty reviewed the progress of developmental programmes in these wilayats — both social and economic — that have been implemented by the government in recent years or are currently being executed, in fulfilment of the citizens' needs.
This auspicious tour embodies the wise and lofty approach of His Majesty the Sultan to discern the needs and aspirations of his loyal people, and to oversee projects of development and modernisation across the country, thereby perpetuating His Majesty's path of achieving further accomplishments on all fronts.

The citizens were eager to express their profound joy at this gracious tour, lining the route of the Royal motorcade to welcome His Majesty the Sultan and celebrate his blessed arrival, showcasing traditional folk arts and supplicating to the Almighty Allah to guide His Majesty with success towards all that brings good, further progress and prosperity. - ONA
