SAF, RAO officials receive GCC military commander

MUSCAT: Vice Admiral Abdullah bin Khamis al Raisi, Chief of Staff of the Sultan’s Armed Forces (SAF), received in his office at Muaskar Al Murtafaa on Tuesday Maj Gen Abdulaziz bin Ahmed al Balawi, Commander of the Unified Military Command of the GCC, accompanied by Maj Gen Mohammed bin Abdulrahman al Ruwais, Commander of the Peninsula Shield Force.
During the meeting, the two sides exchanged views and discussed a number of military matters of mutual interest.
Furthermore, Maj Gen Matar bin Salim al Balushi, Commander of the Royal Army of Oman (RAO), received on Tuesday in his office at Muaskar Al Murtafaa the Commander of the GCC Unified Military Command, accompanied by the Commander of the Peninsula Shield Force. During the meeting, the two sides discussed several topics of mutual interest.
