HM, King of Bahrain discuss developments of Middle East Crisis

Muscat: A telephone call took place on Monday between His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik and King Hamad bin Issa al Khalifa of the Kingdom of Bahrain.

During the call, the two leaders discussed the latest developments of the crisis in the Middle East, ongoing efforts to bring it to an end, as well as means to secure maritime navigation.

They also affirmed the necessity of intensifying regional and international efforts to protect the interests of states, ensure the safety of peoples and resolve disputes through peaceful diplomatic means, in accordance with the principles of international law. This, they emphasized, is essential to ensuring respect for the sovereignty of states and consolidating regional and international security and peace.
