President of Kazakhstan HH Sayyid Theyazin hold official talks

 

Astana: An official talks session was held on Thursday at the Akorda Presidential Palace in the capital, Astana, co-chaired by President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev of the Republic of Kazakhstan and HH Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs.

During the session, the two sides discussed areas of economic and investment cooperation between the two countries and ways to develop and enhance them across various sectors for the mutual benefit of their peoples, while emphasizing the importance of intensified coordination and cooperation to expand partnership opportunities.

The discussions also reviewed available investment opportunities in both countries to forge new avenues of partnership and exchange of expertise and knowledge in several economic, investment and developmental fields.

The session was attended from the Omani side by Abdulsalam bin Mohammed al Murshidi, Chairman of Oman Investment Authority, Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Abdullah al Hinai, Ambassador-at-Large at the Foreign Ministry and Mohammed bin Abdullah al Bahrani, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Meanwhile, it was attended from the Kazakh side by Roman Sklyar, First Deputy Prime Minister, Nurlan Zhakupov, CEO of Samruk-Kazyna, Nurlan Baibazarov, Assistant to the President for Economic Affairs; Yerlan Akkenzhenov Minister of Energy, Lazar Yernar, Advisor to the President for International Affairs and Aidarbek Tumatov, Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Sultanate of Oman.
