SAF Chief of Staff receives French counterpart

MUSCAT: Vice Admiral Abdullah bin Khamis al Raisi, Chief of Staff of the Sultan’s Armed Forces (SAF), received in his office at Muaskar Al Murtafaa on Sunday General Fabien Mandon, Chief of Staff of the French Armed Forces, and his accompanying delegation. The meeting discussed a set of military topics of mutual interest.
Meanwhile, General Fabien Mandon and his accompanying delegation also paid a visit to the Maritime Security Centre.
He was received upon arrival by Commodore Adil bin Hamoud al Busaidy, Head of the Maritime Security Centre (MSC).
During the visit, the guest and his delegation were briefed on the roles and responsibilities of the Maritime Security Centre, as well as its efforts to ensure the safety and security of the environment and navigation within Oman’s maritime zones. They also toured the Centre’s facilities and reviewed its advanced technologies and modern systems. - ONA
