The discussions focused on enhancing trade exchange, strengthening industrial integration and developing supply chain linkages between companies in both countries. The two sides also explored opportunities for joint industrial projects in priority sectors and highlighted the importance of boosting Omani exports to the Belarusian market.
Both parties stressed the need to activate the role of the private sector through increased exchange of trade delegations and closer engagement between investors, manufacturers and suppliers to build sustainable economic partnerships.
In parallel, the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry hosted the Omani-Belarusian Business Forum, which brought together officials, business leaders and private sector representatives to explore investment opportunities and strengthen bilateral ties.
Faisal Abdullah Al Rawas, Chairman of OCCI, said the forum reflects the shared determination of both countries to elevate cooperation to broader and more diversified levels, noting its role as a platform to translate strategic visions into tangible partnerships.
For his part, Ryzhenkov highlighted the growing momentum in bilateral relations, supported by high-level visits between the leaderships of the two countries, which have opened new horizons for economic cooperation.
During the forum, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between OCCI and the National Center for Export Promotion of Belarus to enhance trade flows, exchange economic data and promote joint investment initiatives in sectors such as halal industries, petrochemicals, engineering products and IT services.
The agreement also includes organising trade delegations, business matchmaking meetings and participation in key exhibitions, including the 'Belagro' exhibition in Minsk, as well as a technology forum on the sidelines of COMEX in Muscat.
