No party claimed responsibility for recent attacks on Oman: FM

No party has claimed responsibility for the treacherous and cowardly attacks that recently targeted the Sultanate of Oman, and the competent authorities are still investigating their true source and motives, the Foreign Ministry has said.
'While the Sultanate of Oman condemns and denounces the ongoing war and all acts of violence and military targeting of all countries in the region, it remains committed to its firm principles based on practicing a policy of active neutrality and calling for the establishment of peace and the achievement of security and stability for all countries in the region, stopping the ongoing war and returning to dialogue and diplomacy to address the root causes of the issues and reasons for the current conflict in the region in order to preserve its foundations, prosperity and the safety of its peoples.'

The Port of Salalah was targeted by two drones on Saturday, and the incident resulted in moderate injuries to one of the expatriate workers at the port and limited damage to one of the cranes in the port facilities.

The Sultanate of Oman reiterated its strong condemnation of these hostile attacks and affirmed its commitment to taking all necessary measures to uphold the nation's security and ensure the safety of all individuals on its soil.
