Oman Club win fifth straight handball title

Oman Club retained the First Division Handball League title after defeating Muscat Club 31-28 in the final held at the main hall of the Sultan Qaboos Sports Complex in Bausher on Sunday evening.
The match was held under the auspice of Mohsin bin Hani al Bahrani, Chairman of Al Amerat Club.
With the victory, Oman Club secured its fifth consecutive league title and the 11th in its history, while Al Seeb Club finished third.
The final witnessed a competitive start as both teams exchanged goals in an evenly contested first half. Muscat Club showed strong attacking organisation and managed to take a 16-15 lead at halftime.
However, Oman Club returned strongly in the second half, improving its defensive organisation and attacking efficiency to overturn the deficit.
Key contributions from Said al Husini, Hamad al Dughayshi, Taher al Hadidi and Maher al Hadidi helped Oman Club regain control before extending the lead in the closing minutes.
Oman Club maintained its advantage until the final whistle to secure a 31-28 victory, confirming its continued dominance in the league with five consecutive titles and 11 overall championships.
