MOH appeals for urgent blood donation

The Ministry of Health (MOH) through the Central Blood Bank has urged citizens and residents to donate blood these days in preparation for the Eid Al-Fitr holiday, in order to ensure the continued availability of blood units for patients in need.

It urged individuals with negative blood types (O- and A-) to donate blood urgently today due to low stock levels. In addition, we call on those with A+ blood type to come forward to donate platelets, as there is an urgent need for more than 6 platelet donors today.

Seeb Blood Donation Center (Sun-Thu): 7AM to 11:30AM

Non-fasting donors: Sun-Thu, 8 am– 12:30 pm, Central Blood Bank
