Training centre opens at Al Sumood Camp

The camp was organised on the occasion of the annual day of the Sultan's Special Force, which falls on March 15th every year

Gen Sultan bin Mohammed al Numani, Minister of the Royal Office, opened on Sunday the Advanced Training Centre at Al Sumood Camp of the Sultan’s Special Force (SSF).This comes on the occasion of the annual day of the Sultan’s Special Force, which falls on March 15th every year.
During the opening, the Minister of the Royal Office was briefed on the centre’s facilities and the roles and tasks assigned to it. He also witnessed the execution of a practical demonstration that included several field exercises within the centre’s areas of expertise.


The Minister of the Royal Office pinned the Excellent Service and Royal Commendation medals on several senior officers, commissioned officers, and non-commissioned officers of the Sultan’s Special Force, in appreciation of their dedication and sincerity in performing their national duty.
On this occasion, Maj Gen Musallam bin Mohammed Jaaboub, Commander of the Sultan’s Special Force (SSF), pinned the Special Service Medal and the Long Service and Good Conduct Medal on several commissioned and non-commissioned officers of the force. He also honoured a number of distinguished personnel in appreciation of their efforts and contributions in performing their tasks and duties with utmost efficiency. — ONA
