Oman, Malaysia call for diplomatic action to prevent escalation of Israel‑US war on Iran

Sayyid Badr bin Hamad al Busaidy, Foreign Minister, held a telephone conversation with Anwar Ibrahim, the Prime Minister of Malaysia, during which he emphasised the alignment of Oman and Malaysia in prioritising diplomatic efforts to stop the Israel‑US war on Iran.

The leaders discussed the broader regional and global repercussions of the conflict, including risks to neighbouring countries, disruptions to maritime navigation and supply lines, and potential impacts on the global economy.

Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to constructive dialogue and international cooperation to prevent escalation, protect regional stability, and safeguard shared interests.
