MUSCAT: The central team of the Tajawob platform conducted a workshop for specialists from various administrative divisions across Al Sharqiyah South Governorate. The initiative comes as part of ongoing efforts to boost institutional communication efficiency and accelerate digital governance.
The National Platform for Suggestions, Complaints and Reports measures community feedback on public services. The workshop aimed to equip participants with practical tools and smart response skills that contribute to institutional excellence and the strengthening of public trust.
The programme covered three key themes, including digital reputation and emerging challenges in the age of the ‘smart audience’, whose rapid engagement and high expectations require timely, transparent and professional responses. It also addressed the role of public relations in managing digital reputation through Tajawob, emphasising the shift from merely responding to reports to proactively shaping public perception and building sustainable trust.
Participants were introduced to advanced approaches in analysing data derived from reports, complaints and suggestions submitted via the platform. The workshop underscored the importance of moving beyond the traditional concept of “closing a case” towards “analysing the case,” with the objective of identifying root causes, minimising recurring issues and improving service quality through a data-driven institutional approach.
In addition, the central team highlighted the role of artificial intelligence tools in supporting the drafting of professional responses characterised by clarity, empathy, and compliance with approved regulations and procedures.
Organisers affirmed that every complaint, inquiry, or suggestion submitted through Tajawob represents a genuine opportunity for development and improvement rather than a procedural obligation. They noted that smart responses built on speed, transparency and empathy play a critical role in enhancing institutional image and fostering sustainable trust between government entities and the community.
The workshop forms part of a broader series of capacity-building initiatives aimed at strengthening institutional communication practices and aligning with digital transformation objectives, while supporting ongoing efforts to enhance service quality and beneficiary satisfaction across Al Sharqiyah South.
