3 expatriates in the UAE, one in Kuwait, die in attacks

 

The UAE Ministry of Defense announced that its Air Force and Air Defense Forces managed on the morning of the second day of the Iranian attack to destroy 20 ballistic missiles, while 8 missiles fell into the sea, in addition to destroying 2 cruise missiles and destroying 311 drones, while 21 drones hit civilian targets, confirming the ability of the UAE Air Force and Air Defense Forces to deal with various threats.

The Ministry explained that since the start of the Iranian attack on Saturday, 165 ballistic missiles were detected and launched from Iran towards the country, of which 152 were destroyed, while 13 fell into the sea.
Two cruise missiles were also detected and destroyed, and 541 Iranian drones were detected, 506 of which were intercepted and destroyed, while 35 fell inside the country's territory, causing material damage and resulting in 3 deaths of Pakistani, Nepalese and Bangladeshi nationals and 58 minor injuries of Emirati, Egyptian, Ethiopian, Filipino, Pakistani, Iranian, Indian, Bangladeshi, Sri Lankan, Azerbaijani, Yemeni, Ugandan, Eritrean, Lebanese and Afghan nationals.

The ministry indicated that some shrapnel fell in various parts of the country as a result of air defense systems intercepting ballistic missiles and drones, leading to minor and moderate material damage to several civilian properties.

The ministry expressed its readiness to deal with any threats and stressed that the safety of citizens, residents, and visitors is a top priority that cannot be compromised.

Kuwait

Kuwait's health ministry on Sunday reported one death as a result of the current regional developments. The Ministry spokesman said on Sunday that 32 people arrived at the emergency room in Adan Hospital.

He added that 15 cases were transferred to Jaber Hospital, while five were admitted to the operating room at Adan Hospital, and one person was confirmed dead.

The patients, all expatriates, were admitted with various injuries ranging from head and chest trauma to broken bones, noting that they are all receiving full medical care.

Kuwait's health ministry maintains readiness at all medical facilities and coordination to provide maximum care during the current circumstances, he added.

Bahrain

The National Communication Centre (NCC) confirmed that the air defence systems of the Bahrain Defence Force have responded with high efficiency and full operational readiness to a fresh wave of hostile Iranian ballistic missiles and drones targeting the Kingdom of Bahrain, successfully intercepting and destroying them.

The NCC affirmed that these attacks constitute a violation of the Kingdom’s sovereignty and national security, stressing that the safety of citizens and residents remains an absolute priority.
