India's main airlines suspend flights to the Middle East

 

India's two main airlines have suspended their service to the Middle East on Saturday.

Air India suspended flights to all destinations in the Middle East on Saturday after Israel and the United States launched strikes on Iran.
'In view of the developing situation in parts of the Middle East, all Air India flights to all destinations in the Middle East have been suspended,' the airline said in a statement posted on X.  

The largest airline, Indigo,  said that all flights to and from the Middle East are cancelled till 12 am. These measures have been instituted as the safety and security of our customers and crew is our highest priority.
'Our teams are continuously monitoring the evolving situation and recalibrating operations to minimise disruption as much as possible. Customers are advised to check their flight status before departure. If your flight is impacted, please visit https://t.co/9VuwyhxE9G to explore alternate travel options or opt for a full refund. ' 

Mumbai International Airport: Due to temporary closures and restrictions affecting multiple international airspaces in West Asia, certain international flights may experience delays or rerouting. Passengers are advised to check the latest flight status with their respective airlines before traveling to the airport and plan their journey accordingly.
