House raided for samosa preparations

MUSCAT: The municipality of Al Musannah, Al Batinah South Governorate, carried out a raid on a residential house that was being used illegally to prepare samosas without obtaining the necessary licence.
The raid was carried out in coordination with the Public Prosecution and the Royal Oman Police.
The operation resulted in the seizure and destruction of 903 kilogrammes of food used in preparation, which was being prepared in completely unsanitary conditions, posing a risk to consumer safety.
