MUSCAT: The Indian Social Club (ISC) Oman – Deccani Wing successfully hosted its much-anticipated annual ladies’ event, drawing enthusiastic participation from over 100 women in a vibrant celebration of culture, talent, and togetherness.

 

The event unfolded in an atmosphere of warmth and elegance, bringing together members of the community for an evening filled with camaraderie and joyful engagement. A series of lively activities — including interactive games, spot questions, lucky draws, and cookery contests — added excitement and encouraged participants to showcase their creativity and skills.

 

The programme was meticulously coordinated by Deccani Wing Ladies Co-ordinator Kauser Suhail, with the support of Mariam Khatoon and a dedicated team of volunteers. Special appreciation was extended to Humera Fasi, Nikhat Ali, Sameena Mannan, Tamkeen, Akhsia, Saher, and Zainab for their invaluable contributions to the event’s success.

 

The evening was gracefully anchored byRania Manaal Sabri, whose confident and engaging presentation kept the audience entertained throughout.

 

A major highlight was the cookery contest themed ‘Ramzan Special – Dahi Bada’ and ‘Eid Special – Sheerkhurma.’ The competition witnessed enthusiastic participation, with entries judged by renowned Hyderabadi influencer and recipe blogger Afshaan Jabeen.

 

In the Ramzan Special category, the winners were Shaista who stood first, second by Anjum and Saher took the third spot.

 

In the Eid Special category, the winners were Talath Aalam who came first, while Binish stood second and third by Salma Noor.

 

Another standout segment was the ‘Walk of Grace,’ where participants confidently took to the stage, reflecting poise and self-assurance. Barida was crowned Queen of Marasim 2026, with Fatima named 1st Runner-Up and Haniya as 2nd Runner-Up. Tamkeen received the Best Dressed Lady title for her striking gold ensemble, while the Choice of Judge Award was presented to Binish. This segment was adjudicated by Jagruti Joshi, a noted model and accomplished beauty pageant titleholder.

 

The evening concluded with lucky draws and interactive sessions, leaving participants with cherished memories. Overall, Marasim 2026 stood as a graceful tribute to the strength, unity, and spirit of the Deccani women’s community in Oman.
