Holiday for Omani teachers' day on Feb 26

Muscat: The Minister of Education issued Ministerial Decision No 16/2026 regarding the Teacher’s Day holiday for the academic year 2025/2026.

It stipulated that Thursday, February 26, 2026, shall be an official holiday for all educational bodies in government and private schools in the Sultanate of Oman.

Omani Teacher’s Day is observed on February 24 each year to recognise the role of teachers in the country.
