Al Nahda’s Gulf Champions League campaign ended after a 3–1 defeat to Qatar’s Al Rayyan at Ahmad Bin Ali Stadium in Doha on Tuesday night. The Omani side showed determination despite the tough atmosphere, having drawn 1–1 in the first leg in Muscat where Al Nahda's Misoko Olomu had opened the scoring.
In the return match, Al Rayyan took the lead in the 21st minute through Ahmed Alaaeldin before Roger Guedes added a second in the 56th minute. Al Nahda responded through Misoko Olomu in the 64th minute, scoring his second goal against Al Rayyan over the two legs and briefly reviving hopes. However, Aleksandar Mitrović sealed the 3–1 result in the 71st minute.
Al Nahda finished third in the group with seven points, level with Al Shabab but behind on goal difference, while Al Rayyan topped the group with 12 points. Despite the exit, Al Nahda delivered a competitive performance and fought until the final whistle.
