Talks focus on bilateral cooperation

His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik gave an audience at the Al Barakah Palace on Sunday to His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
At the outset of the audience, His Majesty the Sultan welcomed His Royal Highness the guest, expressing his delight at this gracious visit. For his part, the guest expressed his sincere greetings and appreciation to His Majesty the Sultan for the warm welcome and generous hospitality.
His Royal Highness the Crown Prince also conveyed the greetings of King Hamad bin Issa al Khalifa of the Kingdom of Bahrain, to His Majesty the Sultan, along with his best wishes for good health and happiness to His Majesty. The King of Bahrain also wished the Omani people further progress and prosperity.
On his turn, His Majesty the Sultan asked His Royal Highness the guest to convey his greetings and best wishes to the King of Bahrain. His Majesty wished the people of Bahrain further progress and prosperity.

The audience reviewed aspects of cooperation and partnership between Oman and Bahrain, and means of promoting them to serve the joint interests, in addition to exchanging views on a set of regional and international developments.
The audience was attended from the Omani side by HH Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs, Sayyid Khalid bin Hilal al Busaidy, Minister of the Diwan of Royal Court, Sayyid Hamoud bin Faisal al Busaidy, Minister of Interior, Sultan bin Salim al Habsi, Minister of Finance, Dr Hamed bin Said al Aufi, Head of Private Office of His Majesty the Sultan, Shaikh Al Fadhl bin Mohammed al Harthy, Secretary-General of the Council of Ministers, Dr Hilal bin Ali al Sabti, Minister of Health, and Anwar bin Hilal al Jabri, Minister of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion.
Meanwhile, it was attended from the Bahraini side by Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah al Khalifa, Deputy Prime Minister, Shaikh Issa bin Salman al Khalifa, Minister of the Prime Minister's Court, Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy, Yasser bin Ibrahim Humaidan, Minister of Electricity and Water Affairs, Dr Jalila bint al Sayed Jawad Hassan, Minister of Health, Hamad bin Faisal al Malki, Minister of Cabinet Affairs, Abdullah bin Adel Fakhro, Minister of Industry and Commerce, Shaikh Salman bin Ahmed al Khalifa, President of the Court of the Crown Prince, and Dr Juma bin Ahmed al Kaabi, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Sultanate of Oman. — ONA
