AL HAMRA: The latest developments of the urban renewal project for Al Hamra Neighbourhood were reviewed in the Wilayat of Al Hamra, Al Dakhiliyah Governorate.
The session covered mechanisms for providing essential supporting services, including water, sewage and electricity networks, as well as technical coordination among relevant authorities to ensure the integration of works according to a clear timeline.
This took place during a meeting held in the wilayat between Shaikh Sulaiman bin Said al Azri, Wali of Al Hamra, and several officials and specialists from relevant government entities.
Eng Noor al Hanaiah from the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning delivered a presentation on the urban design guidelines for Al Hamra neighbourhood, addressing the project's vision, planning objectives, implementation stages, and proposed development concepts that preserve the authentic architectural character of Al Hamra.
The meeting also discussed the executive action plan and technical challenges associated with infrastructure, stressing the importance of establishing a phased schedule for service implementation to ensure site readiness and the smooth flow of work.
