Muscat Steel Corporate League 2026 crowned Security & Safety Services as champions after a commanding 4–1 victory over JC Decaux in the final, bringing three weeks of competitive football, teamwork and outstanding sportsmanship to a successful close. Organised by Oman Football Association in collaboration with the Sports Mania, the tournament concluded on a high during a final day attended by players, company management, partners and enthusiastic supporters.
Earlier in the day, DHL secured third place with a 6–3 win over Takaful Oman in the playoff match, setting the stage for an exciting finale. The closing and awards ceremony was held immediately after the final in the presence of Al Harith bin Juma al Juma, General Manager of Muscat Steel Group and the league’s official sponsor, and Captain Saif bin Hamad al Shamli, Director of Guarding and Cash Services at Security & Safety Services, as medals were presented to the top three teams and the championship trophy was awarded to the winners. The final standings saw DHL take third place, JC Decaux finish runners-up, and Security & Safety Services lift the title.
Individual excellence was also recognised during the ceremony, with Faisal bin Khalifa al Hadi of Security & Safety Services named Best Player of the tournament, Bashar bin Talib al Maharbi of Security & Safety Services winning the Best Scorer award, Al Baraa bin Mohammed al Raqadi of JC Decaux receiving Best Goalkeeper honours, and Security & Safety coach Shabib bin Zaher al Ruqaishi awarded Best Coach.
In appreciation of its support, Sports Mania presented a commemorative shield to Muscat Steel, thanking the sponsor for its role in delivering a successful and well-organised edition.
Played in a 6-a-side format featuring five outfield players and a goalkeeper, the Muscat Steel Corporate League 2026 brought together eight corporate teams — OQ Exploration & Production (OQEP), Muscat Steel, DHL, Security & Safety Services (SSS), Takaful Oman, Hotpack, JCDecaux and Dhofar Insurance — who competed through a group stage before progressing to knockout rounds that produced closely contested fixtures and a fitting conclusion to one of Oman’s leading corporate sporting events.
