People with special needs walk the red carpet

MUSCAT: Over 100 children and adults were greeted with cheers and flashing lights as they entered the Diplomatic Club in Muscat on Friday night.
This global event, which saw companies, charities, and faith-based organisations from around the world coming together to honour and value people with special needs, is aimed at celebrating individuals with disabilities.
Each event is unique to its location, but some common activities include a red carpet entrance, a warm welcome from a friendly crowd and paparazzi, food, music, activities, and a crowning ceremony where every guest is honoured as a King or Queen.
HH Sayyidah Hujaija bint Jaifer al Said delivered a touching speech emphasising the importance and value of individuals with special needs. She highlighted the joy, love, and hope they bring to the world.
Joseph Stewart, Founder of Joy House Arabia, expressed his excitement for hosting the first Night to Shine event in Oman and the GCC region. He emphasised the life-changing impact of the event on the honoured guests.
Joy House Arabia collaborates with local and international partners to promote dignity, belonging, and meaningful participation in society. Night to Shine, through hundreds of churches worldwide, has provided over half a million guest experiences and over a million volunteer experiences in the past eleven years.
Tim Tebow, founder of the Tim Tebow Foundation, shared his enthusiasm for Night to Shine, expressing a desire to reach every person with special needs around the world. The goal is to ensure that all individuals are celebrated, regardless of their location.
