Muscat Steel Co-League 2026 Heads into Knockout Climax

MUSCAT: The final week of the Muscat Steel CoLeague 2026 will kick off Today evening at 8 pm. The tournament is organised by the Oman Football Association in cooperation with Sports Mania, with comprehensive organisational preparations in place to ensure the matches are delivered to the highest technical and administrative standards, reflecting the league’s status as one of the Sultanate’s leading sporting events for the corporate and institutional sector.
The evening will feature two semifinal matches, with Security & Safety Services taking on Takaful Oman in what promises to be an evenly contested clash, while JCDecaux face DHL in the second encounter. All matches will be held at Nawras North Court in Seeb, the official venue hosting the entire tournament.
The league began two weeks ago with the group stage, which witnessed competitive and closely fought fixtures alongside strong technical performances from the participating teams. The competition then progressed to the knockout rounds starting with the quarter-finals. JCDecaux defeated OQ Exploration & Production (OQEP) 3–1, Security & Safety Services secured a 3–0 win over Dhofar Insurance, Takaful Oman edged Muscat Steel 3–2, while DHL claimed qualification after a marathon contest against Hotpack, decided 5–4 on penalties.
Organisers are also keen to enhance the fan and interactive experience, with Sports Mania announcing the presence of a live on-court commentator during the semifinals and final to create an engaging and vibrant atmosphere for both participants and spectators. Integrated arrangements have also been put in place covering officiating, technical operations and logistics to ensure the smooth running of the matches.
The third-place playoff and the final will be held on Wednesday, 11 February, followed by the official closing ceremony and awards presentation. The top teams will receive trophies, medals and cash prizes, concluding what is expected to be one of the most competitive and exciting editions of the league.
