Partial road closures announced for Tour of Oman stage three

Muscat: The Royal Oman Police (ROP) has announced partial traffic closures on Monday, February 9, 2026, to facilitate the third stage of the Tour of Oman 2026 cycling race.
According to the Directorate of Relations and Security Information, parking will be prohibited on both sides of roads along the race route during the event.
The stage will start from the Al Fayha area in Samail, Al Dakhiliyah Governorate, at 10:05 am. Cyclists will proceed along Sultan Thuwaini bin Said Road, pass through the Wadi Muharram exit and continue on Wadi Andam Road.
The route will then turn onto Al Quraitain Road towards the Wilayat of Izki, followed by Al Rahba Road, before heading to the Ghabra Nizwa area and continuing towards Wadi Kamah. The stage will conclude at Musfah Al Abriyin after passing Tanouf via Al Hawta Cave in the Wilayat of Al Hamra.
The ROP has urged motorists to cooperate, avoid parking along the race route and follow traffic instructions during the event.
