Muscat Nights 2026 is drawing thousands of visitors with an exceptional culinary experience that goes far beyond dining, evolving into a vibrant cultural and entertainment celebration.
This year, the festival’s main venues have been transformed into world-class destinations, uniting the richness of authentic Omani cuisine with the latest international gastronomic trends under one umbrella.
Designed as a complete lifestyle experience, the venues blend diverse food offerings with immersive entertainment.
From the moment families arrive, the festive atmosphere sets the tone for a winter season filled with flavour, fun and cultural discovery across all Muscat Nights locations.

Dining options span traditional and contemporary tastes across key venues. The Heritage Village in Al Qurm and Al Amerat offers a live encounter with traditional Omani dishes set against heritage-style architecture.
At the Food Festival in Al Qurum Natural Park, a dedicated food zone presents a wide range of local and international cuisines in an open-air environment, running daily from 4 pm to 11 pm.
Meanwhile, Seeb Beach (Sur Al Hadid) features a corniche lined with restaurants and cafés, offering beachfront dining experiences, while major shopping centres such as Oman Avenues Mall combine food courts with entertainment activities.

Qurayat introduced a new seafood-focused experience this year, serving Omani favourites such as salona fish, spiced octopus (qash’a), coastal-style lobster and charcoal-grilled Omani mishkak. Modern dessert zones near Al Qurum Natural Park fountains added further appeal with crepes, French toast and waffles.
Visitors expressed satisfaction with the organisation and the wide range of options catering to different budgets and tastes. Muscat Municipality’s provision of comfortable seating areas and convenient transport services was widely appreciated, making dining a seamless part of the Muscat Nights experience. Food prices were considered reasonable, with both cash and card payment options available, although some smaller vendors reported pressure on electronic payment networks during peak hours.

Rashid al Yafei, a visitor, said the festival offered “a unique opportunity to experience cultural diversity through food,” highlighting the presence of both traditional Omani and international dishes.
Al Qurum Natural Park witnessed remarkable turnout, where visitors enjoyed meals alongside dancing fountain shows, laser displays and an interactive cooking theatre featuring international chefs conducting live workshops and competitions.
At Al Amerat’s Heritage Village, visitors took a journey into the heart of Omani culinary traditions. Omani craftswomen demonstrated the preparation of rakhal bread and traditional sweets, turning dining into an educational and cultural experience rooted in national identity.

A modern dimension was evident at Seeb Beach and Wadi Al Khoudh, where food trucks and speciality cafés run by young Omani entrepreneurs offered creative fast food and winter beverages, especially popular among youth seeking open-air dining with an adventurous touch.
Blending food, entertainment and learning, Muscat Nights 2026 continues to attract food lovers of all ages, reinforcing Muscat’s position as a leading winter destination in the region. The food and entertainment events run until January 31, inviting residents and visitors alike to explore this dynamic fusion of flavours and festivities.
