Muscat: Al Shabab maintained their positive run in the Jindal Football League after defeating visitors Dhofar 2–0 at Seeb Stadium in the closing match of Round 11, strengthening their title push and climbing to second place in the standings.
Dhofar started the match brightly in the opening minutes, applying early attacking pressure in search of a breakthrough, but Al Shabab’s solid defensive organisation shut down all routes to goal.
As the game progressed, Al Shabab gradually took control and opened the scoring in the 28th minute through a set piece by international player Musab al Maamari. His effort deflected off a defender, wrong-footing goalkeeper Mazin al Kasbi before finding the net.
Dhofar came close to equalising on several occasions, but the brilliance of goalkeeper Abdulmalik al Badri and poor finishing denied them. The first half also saw a controversial refereeing moment when a penalty was initially awarded to Al Shabab before being overturned after consultation with the assistant referee, leaving the hosts ahead 1–0 at the break.
In the second half, Dhofar increased their attacking pressure, but Al Shabab managed the game smartly. Bashar al Balushi sealed the victory in the 62nd minute with an impressive individual effort inside the box to double the lead. The score remained unchanged until the final whistle, as Al Shabab raised their tally to 25 points in second place, while Dhofar stayed on nine points in 11th.

SAHAM EDGE OMAN CLUB
At the Seeb Stadium, Saham claimed an important and hard-fought 1–0 win over hosts Oman Club in a match marked by tactical discipline.
The only goal came in the 45th minute through Mohsin Jawhar, who produced a brilliant solo run from midfield before finishing with a low strike into the far corner past goalkeeper Faris al Ghaithi. In the second half, Oman Club pushed forward with several attacking substitutions, but Saham’s organised defence held firm to protect the lead.
The win lifted Saham to seventh place with 16 points, while Oman Club remained eighth with 14 points.
AL NASR PREVAIL IN 5-GOAL THRILLER
At Al Saada Sports Complex, Al Nasr secured a dramatic 3–2 victory over Bahla in one of the most exciting matches of the round.
Bahla took an early lead in the fourth minute through Abdulsalam al Shukaili, before Hussain al Shihri equalised for Al Nasr from the penalty spot. The drama continued in the second half as Bahla regained the lead through Majid al Shukaili, but Al Nasr responded strongly, taking advantage of Bahla being reduced to 10 men after their goalkeeper was sent off.
Bini Mugibaya netted the equaliser in the 85th minute, before substitute Osama Majdi struck a decisive winner deep into stoppage time in the 98th minute to secure three valuable points.
Al Nasr moved up to fifth place with 22 points, while Bahla remained sixth on 16 points.
