Blood bank issues urgent call for donation

Due to the cancellation of several blood donation drives scheduled for this week by the organizing authorities, and because of the significant decrease in blood unit stocks resulting from the decline in the number of donors recently, the Blood Bank Services Department has issued a call for the urgent need to boost blood donation rates.

It urged all those able to donate to take the initiative and go to the Bousher Blood Bank and the Seeb Blood Donation Center to meet the estimated daily need of 150 units of blood.

Bousher Central Blood Bank:

Saturday to Thursday

8:00 AM to 8:00 PM

Friday 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM

Seeb Blood Donation Center:

Al Araimi Boulevard

Sunday to Friday 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM
