Sayyid Badr bin Hamad bin Hamoud al Busaidi, the Foreign Minister, on Saturday, in a phone call with his French counterpart, discussed the latest developments in the region and exchanged views on regional relations, developments in the Iranian nuclear issue, and efforts to support de-escalation. Both sides called for the parties to return to the negotiating table. 

Sayyid Badr, on Friday, spoke to his German counterpart and addressed current developments and their implications at both the regional and international levels.
Both sides affirmed the importance of adhering to the rules of diplomacy and peaceful solutions to preserve stability and peace, and to consolidate an approach of dialogue and understanding in addressing various challenges. 

He also spoke to the Foreign Minister of the Republic of Turkiye. The call addressed the course of bilateral relations between the Sultanate of Oman and the Republic of Turkiye, and exchanged views on the developments taking place in the region, where they affirmed the importance of supporting efforts to consolidate the foundations of regional security and stability, enhancing the process of de-escalation, and adopting dialogue and diplomacy as a fundamental strategic option. 

He also spoke to Sergei Lavrov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, and views were also exchanged on the developments of the current situation and the latest updates in the region, where both sides affirmed their continuation of the efforts made and those calling for prioritizing channels of dialogue and diplomacy, to achieve de-escalation and containment of escalation in a way that contributes to addressing all issues and crises through peaceful means.
