'Together Forward' registration draws large turnout

MUSCAT: More than 8,600 Omani citizens (68 per cent males and 32 per cent females) registered for the 'Together Forward' Forum scheduled to be held on February 8-9, 2026. The annual forum is organised by the Secretariat-General of the Council of Ministers.
The forthcoming 4th edition of the forum aims to consolidate the principle of community partnership in decision-making.
Registration statistics show that 46 per cent of those who registered for the forum were holders of a Bachelor's degree, while public sector employees constituted 41 per cent of the registrants.
The Secretariat-General of the Council of Ministers will conduct a sorting process for those registered for the forum. The sorting process will be based on specific criteria that ensure balanced representation of all governorates of the Sultanate of Oman.
