Muscat to welcome 'Miami Band' on Jan 9

MUSCAT: 'Miami Band', the beloved music group from the 90s that captured the hearts of teenagers then, is coming to Oman for a live show at the Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre (OCEC) as part of Muscat Nights, a month-long festival for families.
The exciting performance is scheduled for January 9, 2026, and tickets can be purchased online or at selected outlets.
Miami Band has been popular for decades, with songs that have been the soundtrack to road trips, house parties, and late-night singalongs, instantly transporting listeners back to their younger years.
Organisers of Muscat Nights, the Muscat Municipality representatives, are hopeful that Miami Band will bring the same energy to Muscat after performing to sold-out crowds across the GCC and lighting up Dubai on January 3.

This concert promises to be a standout event in Oman, offering a night of singing along, high energy, and a celebratory atmosphere. Miami Band, a beloved name in Gulf music since their debut in 1991, is known for their energetic performances and popular songs like ‘Bastans,’ ‘Ya Omre Ana,’ ‘Ya Helwakom,’ and ‘Gharamak Shay Ajeeb,’ which have brought generations together.
There are age and dress code restrictions for the concert. The minimum age to attend is 6 years old, and the dress code is smart casual or formal attire. Sportswear and inappropriate clothing are strictly prohibited, and entry will be denied for non-compliance. Additionally, professional cameras are not allowed inside the event.
