Registration for the 'Together We Advance Forum' begins tomorrow

The General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers has announced the start of registration for participation in the fourth edition of the 'Together We Advance' Forum, which will run from Sunday until December 28.
The 'Together We Advance' Forum, scheduled for February 8-9, 2026, aims to consolidate community partnerships in decision-making to achieve national aspirations for progress and prosperity.
The forum will feature some discussion and dialogue sessions extending over two consecutive days, during which the topics chosen by the citizens participating in the electronic voting phase that took place during last October will be discussed, including the Oman 2040: The Reality of Achievement and Prospects for Progress,' which will address the levels of progress in achieving the vision's objectives five years after its launch, in addition to the economic and development tracks of the eleventh five-year plan.
The forum will also discuss the topics of improving government services to enhance productivity and competitiveness, and self-employment and entrepreneurship to build a productive national economy and a sustainable labor market.
The forum will include a focused dialogue session on the role of the five-year plan and priority sectors in building a diversified and sustainable economy. It will focus on several topics, most notably: the strategic vision of the eleventh five-year plan, the economic philosophy on which the new plan is based, and how to transform the plan into a tool to accelerate the achievement of the goals of the 'Oman 2040' vision, the priority economic sectors and their ability to create added value, raise GDP and generate job opportunities in the next stage, in addition to the role of the private sector and local and foreign investment, and how to move the economy from a quarterly economy to an innovation-based economy. The challenges and enablers in these aspects will also be discussed.
The fourth edition of the forum will coincide with the launch of the third edition of the “Ideas Makers” initiative, which aims to stimulate creativity and find innovative solutions to development challenges. The forum will also be accompanied by an exhibition entitled “Achievements of the Present and Visions of the Future”.
It is worth noting that those wishing to attend the forum’s events and sessions, as well as those interested in participating in the “Ideas Makers” initiative competitions, can register on the “Together We Advance” forum’s electronic platform in accordance with the regulations outlined on the various platforms.
