OAAAQA holds 4th meeting for 2025

MUSCAT: The Board of Directors of Oman Authority for Academic Accreditation and Quality Assurance of Education (OAAAQA) held its fourth meeting for the year 2025 on Sunday at its headquarters, chaired by Dr Rahma bint Ibrahim al Mahrouqiyah, Minister of Higher Education, Research and Innovation, Chairperson of the Board of Directors.
During the meeting, the Board discussed several topics, including updates on the project to re-engineer the quality audit system for General Foundation Programmes (GFPs), updating the Authority's Strategic Plan (2026-2030).
During the meeting, a visual presentation highlighted the school performance evaluation processes carried out by the Authority; the signing of the Conflict of Interest form with institutions and programmes that will undergo evaluation processes; the Board of Directors' self-evaluation for the year 2025 and the ratification of matters presented through circulation.
The meeting was attended by Dr Jokha bint Abdullah al Shukailiyah, Chief Executive Officer of Oman Authority for Academic Accreditation and Quality Assurance of Education (OAAAQA), and members of the Board of Directors. - ONA
