Al Batinah South tourism projects post 48.7 per cent rise

NAKHAL: The number of permits issued for tourism investment projects in Al Batinah South Governorate between January and October 2025 grew by 48.7 per cent to 174, compared to 117 issued during the corresponding period in 2024.
According to updated statistics from the Heritage and Tourism Department in Al Batinah South Governorate, the number of eco-lodges in the governorate stood at 48 — of which 33 were set up in the Wilayat of Barka, 10 in the Wilayat of Al Musannah, 2 in the Wilayat of Al Rustaq and 1 in the Wilayat of Wadi Al Maawil. - ONA
