Al Dakhiliyah honours 2025 Entrepreneurship, Innovation Award Winners

NIZWA: The Governorate of Al Dakhiliyah celebrated the conclusion of the 2025 Entrepreneurship and Innovation Award at a special ceremony in Nizwa.
The event was held under the auspices of Shaikh Hilal bin Said al Hajri, Governor of Al Dakhiliyah, that reflected a governorate where history meets innovation and the passion of its youth continues to shape ideas into impactful ventures. From this land rich in talent and ambition, ideas are transforming into real projects that contribute to a promising knowledge economy.
Shaikh Hilal bin Said al Hajri said, “There is no doubt that the Al Dakhiliyah Entrepreneurship and Innovation Award was created to endure and continue. What we have witnessed — from the preparation stages to today’s announcement— clearly indicates that the youth of this governorate are creative and passionate about entrepreneurship and innovation.”
The award, launched by the Office of the Governor of Al Dakhiliyah, aims to empower youth and foster an environment of innovation, supporting the local economy and aligning with the aspirations of Oman Vision 2040.
Khadija bint Said al Khiyariyah, Director of the Oman Vision 2040 Implementation Follow-up Office in Al Dakhiliyah, explained: “The award provided a valuable platform to nurture entrepreneurial ideas and transform them into creative economic projects that support the governorate’s development. The award journey moved through six integrated stages, from the official launch to registration, evaluation, final judging, results announcement, and the crowning moment of honouring the most promising projects.”
The ceremony featured visual presentations documenting the award’s journey, highlighting participants’ efforts, training programmes, evaluation stages and related activities conducted throughout the award period.

Best Female Entrepreneur: National Dental Centre, Best Small Enterprise: Ibn Al Mansouj Enterprise (1st), Al Sudda Enterprise (2nd), Best Small Industrial Enterprise: Five Oceans, Best Service Enterprise: Nizwa Medical Services, Best Tourism Enterprise: Ru’at Al Amkina United – Bait Fanja Heritage House, Best Medium Enterprise: Salasel Electrical Services, Student Category: 'Wudk' (Aisha bint Talha School, 1st), '2Geco' (Bilal bin Rabah School, 2nd) University Category: 'Sharfa' (1st), 'Green Drop' (2nd), Best Supporting Government Entity: Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning, Best Financial Institution: Development Bank and in the Non-Profit Sector: Zakat and Charity Committee in Samayil (1st), Manah Charity Team (2nd)
Among the winners, Azhar bint Ibrahim al Hinaiyah from Aisha bint Talha School expressed her joy: “I am very happy with this achievement. It came after much effort and strong support from my family and school. Our project transforms slaughter waste into healthy products suitable for daily human consumption, with potential for easy marketing. This win is a significant milestone for us.”
Khadija al Khiyari highlighted that winners were selected based on precise criteria to ensure excellence, emphasising that future editions of the award will continue to expand participation. She added that even projects that did not win carried promising ideas deserving of support and development.
Al Dakhiliyah closed a day filled with creativity, where ideas turned into action, passion became achievement, and the award reaffirmed its role as a platform for shaping a pioneering future led by the governorate’s youth.
