Charm of desert on display

The Wilayat of Maqshin in the Dhofar Governorate is hosting a two-day Mandar Al Dhibyan Cultural Heritage Forum in the Al Manader area under the slogan “Winter Gateway”, that includes cultural, heritage and artistic events. The forum includes the Frankincense Caravan, poetry evenings and performances of Al Mankous, a traditional poetry recital, in addition to an exhibition of handicrafts of Bedouins. Awad bin Salem Musan, a top official, said the forum aimed to highlight the heritage and culture of the wilayat located in the Rub Al Khali. — ONA
