Dynamos FC champions of Hyundai Ruwi Cup Season 3

MUSCAT: Dynamos FC emerged as the champions of the Hyundai Ruwi Cup Season 3 Sevens Football Tournament, a neck to neck battle held at the Al Shahil Stadium in Darsait recently.
Organised by Friends of Ruwi with the support of KMFA and conducted in line with official regulations, a total of 16 teams competed in the event, which progressed through knockout stages arranged across four groups.
In a well-fought final match on November 28, Dynamos FC secured a 2–0 victory over Smashers FC. Nisham was named 'Player of the Tournament' for his outstanding performance throughout the event. Shanu received the 'Best Defender' award, while Shibin was recognised as the 'Best Goalkeeper'.
Hyundai served as the title sponsor for the third consecutive season.
The matches which kicked off at 4pm drew a steady stream of football aficianados and ensured strong community participation throughout the tournament which went on till midnight. Officials from Friends of Ruwi, Subin, Varun, Haridas, and Suresh, expressed their gratitude to all participating teams, sponsors and supporters for their continuous encouragement and contribution to the success of the tournament.
