Al Waad CT, Zubair CT register wins

MUSCAT: Al Waad Trading & Contracting CT beat Sohar International Bank by six wickets in the I Division of the Oman Cricket League 2025-26.
Raza Khan scored 20 off 18 to help Sohar Bank get to a paltry total of 126 after a batting mishap for the team. Sujith Kumar claimed four wickets while Vimal M scalped two wickets. In response, Al Waad cruised past the chase in 16.3 overs losing only four wickets as Dharvesh Asath scored an unbeaten 35 of 27 to guide them through.

In J Division, Zubair CT beat OCT Seeb B by 21 runs.
Shankar Gayathri notched a celebratory 96 from 61 balls along with a standing partnership of 99 runs for the second wicket with Ruwan Rupasinge who scored 48 off 29, helping Zubair CT post 195 runs in 20 overs.
In reply, OCT Seeb B crippled to the required run rate after an exceptional effort by Miyuru Wickramaratne scoring 87 off 40 with support from Mohit Chaitanya Khimji scoring a run-a-ball 45 but getting to 174 runs falling short by 21 runs. Shankar Gayathri picked 3 wickets too.
