Royal Flight School marks Golden Jubilee

MUSCAT: The Royal Flight School marked 50 years of foundation, on Thursday.
A celebration was held on the occasion under the auspices of Nasr bin Hamoud al Kindi, Secretary-General of the Royal Court Affairs, at the school’s premises in the Wilayat of Al Seeb in the presence of a number of dignitaries, parents of students and invitees.
Representatives of the school’s administration addressed the attendees outlining the school’s history, vision, mission and objectives. Omani students and others of various nationalities staged performances celebrating the occasion, showcasing a blend of Omani and other cultural traditions. A visual presentation highlighting the school’s journey and development was also screened.
Founded in September 1975, the Royal Flight School is one of the leading international schools in Oman, catering to children from preschool to sixth grade.
Since its inception, the school underwent several transformations and developments in terms of academic curriculum and facilities. The school building itself is a model facility, boasting facilities that enhance the educational process and improve academic achievement.
Beside its state-of-the-art classrooms, the school features specialised art, music and drama laps, two libraries for different age groups, a spacious multi-purpose hall, sports fields, and indoor swimming pools.
The school strives to provide an exemplary educational experience that serves its students and prepares them for subsequent academic stages in line with the ongoing advancements in the educational system.
