Extravaganza dazzles Muscat audience

MUSCAT: The Funkar Musical Extravaganza, 'Gun Guna Rahe Hai Bhanware', enthralled a packed audience at the Sur Ballroom of Hotel Muscat Holiday recently. The event showcased the talent and charisma of the Funkar Group, celebrating 10 years of musical performances.
The show opened with the traditional lighting of the lamp by dignitaries, followed by captivating performances from Funkar veterans Swati and Asmita, who flew in from India, alongside regular stars Unmesh and Urjit Tipnis, Pallavee, Pramod, Medha, Kalpana, Dr Venky, Afsar and Shailesh.
Audience engagement was high, with guests singing and dancing along to popular hits. Giant screens with synchronised lip-syncing, managed by Utkarsh Tipnis, and technical support by Nilesh, enhanced the experience.
Organised by Funkar admins Urjit Tipnis and Shital Sawant, the invite-only event featured digital QR code entry, gift hampers, and prizes for 'Lucky Dip' and 'Early Bird' participants, followed by a sumptuous dinner for guests. The performances were also streamed live on YouTube for international viewers.
With professional sound, lighting and a wide repertoire of songs, the event offered a memorable night of music and celebration, leaving attendees eagerly anticipating the next Funkar Musical Extravaganza.
