MUSCAT: Sayyid Mohammed bin Sultan al Busaidy, Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Judicial Council, on Sunday received Stefan Blättler, Attorney General of the Swiss Confederation, who is currently on an official visit to the Sultanate of Oman.
The meeting, which took place at the premises of the Judiciary Council in Muscat, dealt with various matters of mutual interest in judicial and legal fields, as well as ways to enhance cooperation between the Sultanate of Oman and the Swiss Confederation.
The meeting was attended by Attorney General Nasr bin Khamis al Sawa'ee.
In addition to bilateral meetings with Omani officials, the Swiss Attorney General will deliver two lectures on cybercrime and economic crime.
The visit of the Swiss Attorney General seeks to consolidate judicial and legal cooperation between the two countries.
It will discuss means of exchanging expertise, success experiences and best practices that would contribute to the realisation of prompt justice and the rule of law. - ONA
