HH The Honourable Lady felicitates Omani women figures

Muscat: Her Highness the Honourable Lady Assayida Ahd Abdullah Hamed al Busaidi, Spouse of the Sultan of Oman felicitated some Omani women figures from various sectors. The felicitation, which took place at Al Baraka Palace today, comes within the context of marking the Omani Women's Day.

They were: HH Sayyida Dr Sharifa Salim Ali al Said, Dr Arwa Zakariya Yahya al Riyami, Dr Amna Saif Mohammed al Abdul Salam, Dr Hamda Hamad Hilal al Saadi, Dr Khalisa Hamad Mohammed al Bahri, Khadija Nasser Jawad al Saati, Khawla Zayed Sultan al Shehi, Dr Khawla Said Saif al Harthy, Razan Hamad Salim al Kalbani, Eng Ruqaya Ahmed Hamoud al Shithani, Sharifa Hussain Qasim al Yafei, Shaikha Yousuf Abdullah al Farsi, Ghaliya Ali Mohammed al Masheikhi (who was represented by her daughter), Fakhriya Saif Khalfan al Shibani, Dr Feryal Ali Khamis al Lawati, Kaltham Hamoud Ali al Muqbali, Dr Kawthar Suleiman Ahmed al Busaidi, Maryam Rashid Mohammed al Yazidi, Dr Noora Salim Abdullah al Khalili and Dr Warda Abdulrahman Salim BalKhair.

This felicitation reaffirms the high status enjoy by Omani women and the continuous support they receive as key partners in building the nation and shaping its future under the leadership of His Majesty the Sultan.

The event was attended by Dr Laila Ahmed al Najjar, Minister of Social Development.
