Muscat: The Council of Ministers has extended its heartfelt congratulations to all Omani women on the occasion of Omani Women’s Day, celebrated annually on October 17, marking the nation’s continued recognition of women’s contributions and achievements since the dawn of the Blessed Renaissance.

In a statement issued on this occasion, the Council said that Omani Women’s Day represents a tribute to the significant role women have played in the country’s development and progress, and to the continued care and support extended to them under the leadership of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik.

The Council also emphasized that the responsibilities carried by Omani women today are growing, particularly in light of the rapid advancements in technology and social communication. It praised their proactive engagement in these fields and their key role in fostering family stability, community welfare, and national progress.
