NIZWA: The Tender Committee at the office of the Governor of Al Dakhiliyah Governorate awarded several municipal development projects aimed at enhancing infrastructure and improving public services across the wilayats.
Chairing the meeting, Shaikh Hilal bin Said al Hajri, Governor of Al Dakhiliyah, reviewed the progress of ongoing projects and stressed the importance of adhering to quality standards.
Awarded projects include road design and implementation in Samayil and Izki, maintenance projects in Samayil, Bidbid, Izki, Adam, Al Hamra, Nizwa and Bahla, consultancy for the ‘Authenticity of Bahla’ project, and annual gardening and irrigation maintenance for 2026–2027.
The Governor emphasised that municipal work is key to local development, quality of life and balanced growth. The committee promotes transparency, efficiency, and partnership with small and medium enterprises to create jobs and stimulate the local economy, in line with Oman Vision 2040’s objectives for sustainable development and social welfare. - ONA
