Low-pressure system brings rain in governorates

Heavy thunderstorms are expected in the governorates of Al Batinah North, Al Batinah South, Al Dhahirah, Al Dakhiliyah and Al Buraimi as the Sultanate of Oman will be affected by a low-pressure system. Heavy rain ranging between 20-60 mm can lead to flow of wadis and water streams, accompanied by active descending winds. It is also expected that Al Sharqiyah North Governorate and the southern parts of Musandam Governorate will experience rainfall ranging between 10-30 mm, and Al Sharqiyah South Governorate may see rainfall between 5-10 mm, leading to the flow of wadis and streams, accompanied by active downward winds.
