More schools in Oman are integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI) in their curricula, according to an AI expert. Speaking to the Observer, TS Sreedhar (pictured), an expert in AI, said that there has been a major wave in Oman in terms of AI, and it is only a matter of time before the entire education system is fully equipped with AI.
'Oman has taken a major leap, and some of the schools have already implemented AI in their academics following the Indian School Al Ghubra, which is the first school to embrace AI in their curriculum,' TS Sreedhar said.
'The aspects of acquire, analyse and innovate inculcated by SuperAI have really excited the students and parents too. Moreover, the announcement by the chairman of Indian schools on the adoption of AI in the schools has created more interest in the country. The other international schools are keen on embracing AI,' he added.
'A lot of corporates too have shown interest in adopting AI for their processes and productivity enhancement measures following the school,' Sreedhar said.
He highlighted NeuraEdge, a cutting-edge Small Language Model-based smart solution built to empower enterprises and governments with secure, domain-specific AI. Unlike generic large models, NeuraEdge is designed to run efficiently on private and hybrid clouds, delivering high-speed, cost-effective and context-aware AI solutions.
With capabilities spanning chatbots, document intelligence, knowledge management and decision-support systems, AI solutions provide organisations with sovereign, customisable, scalable and secure AI applications tailored to their unique needs.
'By combining the power of LLMs with the practicality of small, optimised models, AI can shape the future of technological advancement in Oman and beyond,' Sreedhar said.
