State Council chairman receives UAE Ambassador

MUSCAT: Shaikh Abdulmalik bin Abdullah al Khalili, Chairman of the State Council, received Shaikh Mohammed bin Maktoum bin Rashid al Maktoum, Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to the Sultanate of Oman, on Wednesday.
They reviewed aspects of cooperation between the two brotherly countries and ways to develop bilateral relations. They also exchanged views on issues of common interest, particularly cooperation between the legislative councils of the two countries.
The chairman of the State Council praised the strong fraternal relations between the Sultanate of Oman and the United Arab Emirates to which attention is accorded by the two wise leaderships, His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik and His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed al Nahyan.
The ambassador of the UAE expressed his pride in the deep historical relations between the two countries, wishing the Sultanate of Oman and its people continued progress and prosperity.
