ISC Oman hosts AI workshop to boost digital skills among women

MUSCAT: The Indian Social Club (ISC) Oman successfully hosted a two-day workshop titled ‘Empowering Women Through AI’ on September 12 and 13, exclusively for the ladies of the Indian community.
The programme, led by corporate trainer and executive coach Annie Melinda from The Crossroads International, offered a comprehensive introduction to Artificial Intelligence, equipping participants with essential skills to thrive in today’s digital era.
Over the two days, participants progressed from foundational concepts on Day 1 to intermediate applications on Day 2. Key topics included 'What is AI?', 'AI Tools That Make Life Easier', 'Branding and Marketing Mastery with AI', 'Creating Content like a Pro with AI' and 'The Future of Work and AI'.
With more than 17 years of experience in business management, training and organisational development, Annie brought her expertise and engaging teaching style to the sessions. Her interactive approach ensured that participants not only understood complex concepts, but also learned how to apply them in practical ways.
The workshop received an enthusiastic response, with attendees expressing gratitude for Annie’s ability to simplify AI and make the sessions both useful and enjoyable. The event’s coordinator praised Annie for delivering such a dynamic workshop and extended thanks to Babu Rajendran, Chairman of the Indian Social Club Oman, for his constant encouragement. Appreciation was also conveyed to Manjeet Kaur Parmar, ISC Manager, for her teamwork and dedication, along with the entire ISC support team.
