Omani forum in Zanzibar highlights cultural, heritage diversity

ZANZIBAR: An Omani cultural forum held at the Omani Fort in the Forodhani area in Zanzibar highlighted the deep cultural and historical ties between the Sultanate of Oman and Zanzibar.
The forum, which continues until September 13, features an exhibition of products and fashions representing the Omani heritage.
The forum, organised by the Izz Foundation, under the auspices of Dr Laila Mohammed Musa, Minister of Education and Vocational Training of Zanzibar, and the Secretary of the Ministry of Tourism and Heritage.
The forum was attended by Said bin Salem al Sinawi, Consul General of the Sultanate of Oman in Zanzibar and a number of officials from both sides. — ONA
